July 2024: Company excursion
And another journey into the unknown…
After months of futile attempts to elicit even the slightest clue about the destination from the boss by asking persistent, flat or sneaky questions, he only reveals it when we are sitting on the ICE train to Basel on Saturday morning: Radolfzell on Lake Constance!
Once there, an afternoon on sailing boats was actually on the agenda, but the sailing crash course had to be cancelled due to thunderstorms and storm warnings. Instead, the bravest among us dare to take a dip in the lake – the rest of us explore the town and the hotel’s wellness centre.
The planned hike the next day also falls victim to the rain. However, the alternative programmes are quickly decided: the Zeppelin Museum in Friedrichhafen and an exhibition on the monastery island of Reichenau in Constance.
The clouds disappear just in time for dinner, giving us all a marvellous sunset cruise on the lake on a solar-powered boat. And on Monday, the sun shone again as we travelled to the flower island of Mainau to compete in two teams in a rally with quiz questions about the tree and flower population. We make up for the fact that we don’t have any biologists in our ranks with eager guessing and Wikipedia quizzes. Whether the better team won, however, remains the subject of heated debate to this day.
We board the train to Karlsruhe in the afternoon in high spirits and with lots of great impressions and experiences in our luggage. And speculation about where we will be travelling to next year has already begun.
May 2024: Sponsor of the EuroCRIS
We were once again a sponsor at EuroCRIS in Vienna this year. It was a pleasure to meet our Austrian customers in person. We also had many great conversations -hopefully not only because of the sweets we offered at our stand.
We were also able to elicit a spontaneous smile from one or two stressed conference participants with a sweet bar. Goal achieved.
Our presentation took place in an impressive atmosphere.
Many thanks to TU Wien for organising the event – it was great fun.
April 2024: KISS goes online
With KISS, a project with impressive figures goes live. Within 12 months, a two-phase go-live, data migration and technical conception, Scratch configured around 2,500 attributes in 75 entities, 54 reports with more than 500,000 LoC, 25 roles, the look and feel as well as many “magic scripts”. Many thanks to our customer for their continuous perseverance, pragmatic decisions, patience and lots of input. A huge thank you to our colleague at AT-CRIS for her incredible commitment and an absolutely fantastic project result. What you did here was unique and absolutely fantastic! You really pushed the boundaries here.
March 2024: Fortrama
As a long-standing sponsor of FORTRAMA, we were excited about Regensburg. We tried something new. “i” and “!” as our stand motto, a travelling bag full of sweet bars as nourishment for the conference participants. We enjoyed many great conversations with customers and those who might want to become customers. We had a lot of fun. And we’d love to come back – to FORTRAMA and also to Regensburg.
P.S. We’ll break up the “i” and “!” later in the year.
February 2024: Customer project in the USA completed
January 2024: Change as an opportunity
Change as an opportunity. We are entering the year 2024 with this motto, and we have experienced change because a colleague of many years has left us – thank you once again for your commitment to us. We enjoyed working with you. We actually saw this change as an opportunity and were able to welcome two new colleagues (Martin and Erik) to our team. So this was a very good change for us!
December 2023: Christmas party
We are looking forward to welcoming Huidi as a new colleague. She will help us in the technical area and thus further increase our variability.
The end of the year is always a time to pause for a moment – and say thank you.
To our partners. We were very happy to do this over a very good meal in a great atmosphere.
The new profile photos were also taken on the same day – we quickly got used to them. Here are a few impressions of the making of…
